Soulounge is back
The waiting has come to an end! Soulounge is back. After a long break, Soulounge returns to the scene with a band that made Soul and Funk socially acceptable for a wider audience. At the end of 2010 the band broke up for the time being, but has now been revived by bandleader Sven Bünger. He remembered those incredible moments when the Soulounge once played in Montreux or even opened a concert for Lamont Dozier, the Motown hit supplier, and played support gigs for Me'shell Ndegeocello, George Benson or James Brown.
At that time the Soulounge was already a starting point for musicians like Johannes Oerding, Miss Platnum, Joy "Ayo" Ogunmaki and Roger Cicero. It will be interesting to see who the Soulounge will present at the JazzRally Düsseldorf 2018!
