Neues Jessica Gall Album "Picture Perfect" ab heute erhältlich

6. January 2017 - 14:55 -- Oliver
Picture Perfect

Now in stores: The new Jessica Gall album "Picture Perfect".

Available at bei amazon und iTunes.

"Life," says Jessica Gall, "is loud enough already." The second part of the movement her counterpart has to think about it, which is no big deal, though. "My music", he would have said for sure, "that doesn't have to be that, too". Neither is it. But intense, haunting, hardly ever to be forgotten again, she is, more than ever. With "Picture Perfect" the Berlin girl has now recorded an album that sounds pleasantly imperfect in comparison to its predecessors and contrary to its title in an absolutely positive sense. Especially when you had expected an urban work from the German capital.

The Pasadena Roof Orchestra - Live from London

27. September 2016 - 15:15 -- Rüdiger Herzog

Swing is a special phenomenon. You always count it among the old people and yet young listeners increasingly mingle with the audience. Swing is also a very fast and cool dance style, which is increasingly spreading in the big cities. The Pasadena Roof Orchestra stands for dance music and classics of the 20's and 30's and proves its exceptional position in this genre with its great concerts. Since the end of the 1960s, the orchestra has been bringing this timeless music to the stage and travelling the world with it. We recently recorded a fantastic concert at Cadogan Hall in London.

Benny Greb concludes tour succesfully

20. January 2015 - 17:40 -- Rüdiger Herzog

What does a band do when its tour is over. Imagine three musicians sitting in a café and musing happily about the ten has-been concerts. People came to see them anywhere. This music is too thrilling obviously. And of course the band recorded every concert of the tour on harddrive, like professionals certainly do. I think there's enough reason to look forward to 2015. There will certainly be live versions available for purchase. But first of all a little break. Thanks to the fans, the band says: bye for now!!

Groove Galore - Daniel Stelter comes up with new album!

17. February 2012 - 16:51 -- Timothy Davies
On his new album ‘Krikelkrakel’, Daniel Stelter links to the tone colour he developed on his last CD ‘Homebrew Songs’ (both released on Herzog Records). This music has its roots in Cool Jazz, Mississippi Blues and subtly rough, rolling grooves and those are not explicitely made for inveterated jazz fans! Well defined melodies as well as comprehensible musical structures that are reduced to the essential – that’s the key to lead the four energetic and adventurous musicians to come down to business!
