Label Facts/ Contact

Dear music lovers,

running a label is a vision of communication.

Metaphorycally, it is like the market in San Cristóbal de las Casas, Mexico I have been to: sumptuous fruit displays, intense colors and rich shapes catch your eye, the aromas are inciting, the people busy, they bargain, they chat, they laugh.

In comparison, the music market is a much more sober emporium. In a rational tone of voice, we talk about positioning artists, some follow product lines, others try to boost their artists with marketing. The really strong ones make use of television, radio has lost much of ist radiance. This world is rarely very intimate or full of relish.

This is why I would love to pack a pushcart with music and take to the streets. On street corners and bends I would ask you what you like musically, what musical culture is to you - then and now.

To give you an impression of what my goods on the ficticious pushcart, I have made a catalog for you. Please take the time to look beyond it, as behind it, there is something far more exciting: music that will move you, full of shapes and colors. A market for all senses, every CD a story of its own.

Yours,
Rüdiger Herzog.
